Christa Rae is an up and coming indie folk singer/songwriter born and raised in Nakusp BC.
Self-taught in guitar and vocals, Christa wrote her first song after her Oma died in 2012 and has since used songwriting as a way to navigate and process life’s inevitable losses and transitions. Drawing strength and inspiration from the beautiful mountains surrounding her home, she aims to nurture feelings of connection and belonging, and to support listeners in dropping from head to heart.
More than just music, her live performances are a full somatic healing experience. Weaving story, song and deep embodied presence into a soulful journey that is rich, honest, humorous and relatable.
